Mexican restaurant near the Puerta de Alcalá that bases its offering on traditional recipes without any Tex Mex dishes. Elaborate menu with dishes from every part of Mexico, although the results can be inconsistent. Choices range from typical Oaxacan tamales to pork pozole stew, the tortilla soup or the meat served in a stone molcajete. The space is split into two floors with an understated red décor with some Aztec details. There are some more discreet dining areas with round tables. Well-stocked bar with a wide selection of tequilas and mescals. A lively place that also organises Mexican gastro parties.
