A former banana warehouse in the old part of San Sebastián. Industrial look, with high ceilings and columns of wood and metal. Simple, no-frills food from celebrity chef Ander González. Naturally, the menu includes some of his signature dishes, like the legendary hake pie (his grandparents’ recipe), the tiger prawn carpaccio and the torrija (Spanish-style French toast). Good wine list and magnificent hosts. You’ll feel right at home.
