A crowded alehouse near the Atocha train station. Popular for its legendary calamari sandwich, which some say is one of the best in the city, that they serve in different breads and sizes. The big ones are usually juicy and tender. They also serve other sandwiches and dishes. Spacious premises with some tables, but it’s really all about eating at the huge metal bar counters that are manned by a veritable army of waiters. There is a small terrace for good weather.
