One of the taverns with character in the El Retiro area. Always packed and lively. Small, cosy premises with a terrace, a bar counter and a dining area split into two floors. Very traditional, market-fresh, flavoursome cuisine prepared with good raw products. The foie and apple milfeuille, the potato and truffle croquettes or the oxtail, among other dishes, comme highly recommended. Attractive off-menu options. Interesting but expensive selection of wines available by the glass. Perfect for some good tapas at reasonable prices. It does not disappoint.
