Even with the passing of time, this place remains one of the best eateries in the Argüelles neighbourhood. The main attraction is the bar counter that takes up half of the premises and on which they put the griddle, the fryers and a couple of burners for the stews of the day. Omelettes, potato salad and superb fried food. Simple, scrumptious dishes. Always packed with locals who sit at the tables around the bar or on the terrace. Good quality-price ratio. A winning formula. There is a larger, more modern venue in the Salamanca neighbourhood.
