Authentic, unpretentious Andalusian-style tavern located behind the Reina Sofía Museum. Small wooden tables and Moorish tiles make it look just like a typical Andalusian courtyard. Fried food is served in cones and the tapas for sharing are all served on paper. The highlights are the shrimp omelette and the bienmesabe (marinated dogfish), which is not to be missed. Stews and rice dishes made to order. Pleasant staff and reasonable prices. Good atmosphere and music with a great vibe. There are two more venues in the city.
